Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.
Allow to cool and enjoy.
Chop and caramelize one medium onion, and add along with 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar before blending ingredients.
Some recipes call for removing the skins of the chickpeas for a smoother hummus. I have not needed to do so, opting instead to add the ¼ cup water, which seems to loosen things up enough to get properly pureed in the blender. Ymmv
Instead of blending ingredients, mash the chickpeas slightly with a fork to create a chunky relative of hummus' known as Musabbaha
